Paint protection applied to this Audi A5 after a correction

This Audi A5 came into our Virginia workshop after being owned for around 5 months. Swirling and general wear and tear are visible. The owner wants to get these removed via a paint correction and decided to follow it with paint protection so he wouldn’t need to wax or polish the vehicle again. Certainly, the swirl marks had appeared on the paintwork just through regular incorrect washing techniques (using just one bucket) and local car washes. Local “detailers” the customer used previously disappoints him. So, after coating we educated him on how to wash and maintain his car properly.

Isopropyl Alcohol or IPA wipes down the surface after about 6 hours of correction using various pads and compounds.  IPA removes all oil residue from polishing the surface was ready for application. Then we finishes it. Modern Audi paint can be quite physically tough. But we have all of the right equipment to deal with such challenges.

So maintenance for this Audi owner is now nice and easy. With it’s scratch resistant coating, the risk of swirl marks  will greatly reduce. Bird and bat droppings (which are highly acidic and literally eat through modern clear coats) will now take a lot longer to leave a mark. This gives the owner plenty of time to remove it safely.

Its glossy finish will not dull with regular washing, and most importantly no more time and $ spent on waxing.
